F: Fraser Island, 30ºC, meduses, requins, dingos
E: Fraser Island, 30ºC, jellyfish, sharks, dingos
We went to Fraser Island for 3 days in 4WD on beaches and trails. We had lots of fun, driving on the sand and we got stuck only twice (I mean, I got stuck). Fantastic scenery, good food, camping, playing cards, a really good time. The only low was that because of the sharks and jellyfish, it was impossible to swim in the ocean. So we had to go to the lakes. Transparent water, white sand, it was tough...

Then we had a 3 days cruise in the Whitsunday islands. We could land even if the weather was not that good (flights cancelled again on the next day) and the first day was hard under heavy rain. But we were lucky on the next 2 days with a blue sky. First time in 4 weeks at Whitsunday... Cruise was enjoyable and relaxing, Whitehaven beah amazingf. Water was so clear that we could see the stingrays from the lookout. We also went snorkelling on nice coral even if the visibility was not great. It gave us a snapshot of the great bareer reef.
